127 W Park Dr Raleigh, NC 27605

Listing details for 127 W Park Dr, Raleigh, NC 27605 : It's barely hyperbole to say that this may be the best house on the best lot on the best street in the best neighborhood in Raleigh. (And there are 2 houses!) Built in 1912 & lovingly updated & improved during the current owners' 14+ years of ownership, and with vast entertaining & overnight accommodation spaces perfect for hosting loved ones & friends, the ''Wedding Cake'' house is one of the larger homes on Green Park, with 4+ beds & 4 full baths. It's charmingly historic, yet completely modernized & move-in ready, featuring both aesthetic updates—like the improved & redone baths, open kitchen w/ carrera marble counters, pull out cabinet drawers, & high end appliances, all of which opens through floor to ceiling glass doors to the huge yard professionally landscaped & hardscaped by Arrowhead Designs to include deck & patio space w/ seating and an outdoor fireplace—as well as functional (if somewhat unseen) updates—like new HVAC & ducts, new paint, sealed crawlspace, and more! Plus it sits on a huge-for-the-city .33 acre lot with a 797 square foot 1BR / full bath / full kitchen guest house in back with its own alley access. Honestly, it cannot all be covered here. You've got to see it to believe it. And it would take a novella to list all it has to offer.
