Why are some counts hidden? Counts of 1–4 are hidden in this report. Larger related totals and other price-range counts may also be hidden to protect those small counts. “Count hidden” does not mean zero or missing data.
Broaden the price range while keeping your other choices. Some counts may still be hidden.
Your next step
Open the current for-sale listings and look for homes a buyer might reasonably consider instead of yours. This search gives you a broad starting group that you'll need to narrow to homes more like your own.
View matching listingsCompare what sellers are asking for homes otherwise similar to yours. Those are asking prices, not proof of what buyers will pay.
Check where each home is within the city. A listing across town may be a weaker comparison than one near your property.
Compare square footage and bedroom counts. The bedroom filter sets a minimum, so much larger homes can appear in the same results.
Use photos and descriptions to compare visible wear and reported updates with your home. They may not reveal every condition issue.
All prices includes listings across every price range, so expect a broad starting group.
Sales activity compared with last year
This compares the same three calendar months to help account for seasonal patterns. It shows how many listings sold, not how quickly your home will sell.

Among the listings for sale now
New homes from builders are part of the choices buyers can compare with resale homes. This shows their share of the listings for sale now.
Residential listings that can be shown publicly and match your city, home type, minimum bedrooms and selected price range are included. Each listing must show North Carolina as its state. The city comes from the listing and may differ from city boundaries. Listings without a bedroom count are left out; a note appears when this happens.
Home types follow the listing categories: “Single Family Residence,” “Townhouse” and “Condominium.” New construction and resale follow the listing details; “Not specified” means the listing does not say which. We count listings, so the same property can appear more than once if it has separate listings. Bedroom choices overlap: a four-bedroom listing is included in both 3+ and 4+.
For-sale and under-contract counts reflect the times shown above. Under contract means a buyer and seller have agreed to a sale that has not closed yet. Sold means the sale has closed. Monthly counts cover full calendar months; last quarter covers the most recent full three-month calendar quarter.
Price ranges are in U.S. dollars: K means thousand and M means million. For-sale and under-contract listings use their current asking price; completed sales use the sale price. A home can be in different ranges before and after its sale. Listings without a valid price are included only when you choose All prices. Price-range comparisons use the same dollar amounts in both years and are not adjusted for inflation.
Counts of 1–4 are hidden. Larger related totals, other price-range counts and the new-construction or resale breakdown may also be hidden so they do not reveal those small counts. Zero is shown as 0. “Count hidden” does not mean zero or missing data. Showing all prices broadens the comparison, but does not guarantee every count will be visible.
The sales-activity marker shows the percentage change in listings sold against the same quarter last year: the center means no change, and the ends represent 50% fewer or more sales. Larger changes stay at the end; the exact percentage remains shown. It measures completed sales volume, not selling speed, buyer-versus-seller advantage or a forecast.
This report does not follow the same homes from listing to sale, estimate your home’s value or narrow the comparison by size, age, condition or past price changes. National updates show their source dates and are refreshed separately. They add context and do not measure demand for your particular home.
