Two home types. Start with the address.

Exchange at 401 is a Pulte community on US-401/Fayetteville Road. Pulte describes its location as a Raleigh address in Garner and offers townhome and single-family home collections. Compare a listed home’s layout, lot and HOA documents before deciding which to visit.

Townhome or single-family?

Pulte’s collection names help you find its home designs. For a particular listing, check the floor plan and included features for that address.

Townes · townhomes

Compare interior and end-unit positions, garage space, stairs and outdoor space. Ask which exterior repairs and grounds maintenance the HOA covers, and which you would pay for yourself.

Reserve · single-family homes

Compare the yard, distance between homes, bedroom locations and any first-floor rooms you need. Confirm the layout, lot boundaries and included features for the home you choose.

A home design is not an available address.

Pulte lists home designs separately from quick move-in homes. Send Raleigh Realty the plan name or property address and your questions about the floor plan, included features, available lots, total price or estimated completion date.

Pool, clubhouse and outdoor spaces

Pulte advertises a pool, clubhouse with fitness center, dog park, play lawns and pocket parks. Before you buy, ask which facilities are open, who can use them, whether access is included in your HOA dues and whether any additional charges apply.

Get the HOA costs for the home you choose.

Ask the seller or builder for the current fee schedule and association documents for that address. Compare the amount due with what the association actually maintains.

  • How much are the regular dues, and how often are they paid?
  • Are there separate associations, transfer fees, capital contributions or assessments?
  • Who pays for the roof, exterior, yard and insurance?
  • What do the documents allow for rentals, fences and exterior changes?

Plan the drive from the actual home.

Pulte lists its sales center at 120 Malcolms Meadow Street, Raleigh, NC 27603 and provides directions from I-40 via US-401. Use that address to find the community, then test the trip from the home you are considering to work and your regular stops at the times you would travel. If your route uses Toll N.C. 540 (the Triangle Expressway), check the toll cost.

Look up schools by address and school year.

Check the elementary, middle and high school results, calendar and any enrollment-cap information.
